Aviation Maintenance Training and Careers for Avionics and A&P Technicians - TTC

Tulsa Technology Center offers Aviation Maintenance Technology training for avionics and A&P technician careers through full-time day and evening classes. Advanced hands-on instruction in airframe and powerplant maintenance is approved under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFRs) part 147. Tulsa Technology Center was the first in the nation approved by the Federal Aviation Administration to provide oral and practical tests as an integral part of its curriculum.
Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) is offered in three sections: Generals, Airframe and Powerplant (A&P), totaling 2,034 contact hours. Completion of the Generals section is required before admittance in AMT Airframe or AMT Powerplant sections. Graduates may receive 27 hours of college credit with Tulsa Aviation Education Alliance partner Tulsa Community College toward an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Sciences Technology.
Tulsa Technology Center is approved to offer FAA written tests for students of the Tulsa Aviation Education Alliance member schools.
